1.BHAKT-VATSAL BHAYA HARAN HARI,
KARUNA SHEEL NIDHAN.
KAHE TEOON KALI KAL MEN
LAJ RAKH BHAGWAN.
O God, thou art the abode of compassion and good conduct, lover of the devotees, remover of fears.
Shri Teooram implores Thee to protect our honour in these difficult times of Kaliyuga (Iron-Age)
2. HE SAMARATH SARVAGYA HARI,
DEEN BANDHU DAATAR.
KAHE TEOON KRIPA KARE,
DE SHUBH GUNAN BHANDAR.
O, Omnipotent, Omniscient Lord, Thou art the protector of the poor and very magnanimous in giving.
Shri Teoonram solicits Thee to bestow the treasure of good virtues on him.
3. MAIN MANGAT NAIN AUR KACHHU,
SANT DARAS HARI DEH.
KAHE TEEON DARSHAN KARE,
SAFAL KARUN TAN EH.
O, Beneficient Lord, I do not seek anything else except Thy sacred vision. Shri Teeonram says,
"Let me have a gracious glance on the serene and sacred faces of saints and make my life successful."
4. INDRA RAJ VAIKUNTH SUKH,
NAHIN MANGU DHAN DHAM.
KAHE TEEON MUJHE DIJYE,
HE HARI APNAA NAM.
O, Almighty I do not crave for the Kingdom of Indra, neither do I long for the pleasures of Paradise, nor do
I desire wealth and palaces. The only thing that Shri Teoonram seeks is Thy Sacred name.
5. JITNE KANKE RET KE,
UTNE AVGUN MOIH.
KAHE TEEON GURU BAKSH LE,
SHARAN PADA HUN TOIH.
Lord of Creation, there are as many vices in me, as there are grains of the sand. Shri Teoonram, solicits his preceptor
to forgive him his faults, since he has taken refuge at the sacred feet of his Guru.
6. SATGUR MUJHKO DAAN DE,
PREM BHAKTI VISHWAS.
KAHE TEEON NIT SUMMATI DE,
SANTAN MAHIN NIWAS.
Shri Teoonram solicits his Noble Preceptor to bestow upon him the alms of Love, Devotion and faith,
also to bestow upon him good sense and the company of saintly souls.
7. SATGUR TUM PURAN KARO,
MERI YAH ARDAS.
KAHE TEOON MAN MEN KABHI,
RAHE NA JAG KI AAS.
Shri Teoonram requests his Revered Preceptor to fulfil his earnest desire of never having any fascination for this world.
8. SATGUR ATAMGYAN DE,
HARO DEH ABHIMAN.
KAHE TEEON SAB GHAT VISHE,
DIKHLAO BHAGWAN
Shri Teoonram solicits his Satguru to dawn on him the illumination of the soul and remove his pride of body so as
to enable him to see the Image of God in all human beings.
9. RE MAN RAKHO RAM MEN,
PURAN TUM VISHWAS.
KAHE TEEON VISHWAS SE,
HOVE SAB DUKH NAS.
Addressing his own mind Shri Teoonram advises us to have unflinching faith in ‘RAM’.
This perfect and full faith in God will remove all the sorrows and sufferings.
10. RAM BHAROSA RAKH TUM,
AUR BHAROSA TYAG.
KAHE TEEON HARI SHARAN LE,
KHOLO APNA BHAG.
Shri Teoonram suggests to have full faith in ‘RAM’ and not to depend on any other support except to
take refuge at the Lotus feet of Lord and left the fortune smile.
11. CHINTA BHOJAN VASAN KI,
TEEON KARTE KAHIN.
HARI VISHWAMBHAR DE SABAHIN,
KYA TUM DEVHIN NAHIN.
Why do you worry about your food and clothes? Shri Teoonram asks, "Will the Lord of entire
creation who provides food for all, will deprive thee of they food?"
12. UDAR BHARAN KE KARNE,
BHATKAT KAHIN AJAAN.
TYAGE CHINTA PET KI,
SUMRO SHRI BHAGWAN.
Shri Teoonram asks, "Why do you wander hither and thither for filling up your stomach? Give up this
worry and instead constantly remember the sacred name of the Lord.
13. KAHE TEEON SANSAR MEN,
BAAT YAHI HAI SAAR.
BHAJAN KARO BHAGWAN KA,
CHHODO VISHAYA VIKAR.
Shri Teoonram asserts, "The only substantial thing in this world is to sing the songs of devotion in praise of
God and give up all vices and lustful longings."
14. KAHE TEEON HARINAM JAP,
BHOOLO NA KSHIN EK.
BHOGAT BHOGAT VISHAYA RAS,
BEETE JANAM ANEK.
Shri Teoonram exhorts use to recite constantly the pious name of the Lord and never forget it for a moment,
for many lives in our previous births have been wasted by indulging in vices and lustful longings.
15. MAAT GARABH MEN TUM KIYA,
HARI SE JO IKRAR.
KAHE TEEON TIHIN YAAD KAR,
SUMRO SAT KARTAR.
Shri Teoonram reminds us of our pledge made in the wombs of our mothers. He advises us to
remember the pledge and constantly remember God.
16. MAN BUDHI INDRIYA PRAN DHAN,
JIHIN DINI NAR DEH.
KAHE TEOON TIS RAM KO,
NIT SUMRAN KAR LEH.
Benevolent God, who has bestowed upon us this beautiful body, senses, intelligence and breath of life,
must be remembered constantly, and for ever.
17. POORVA PUNIYA TE PAIYA,
MANUSH KA AVTAR.
KAHE TEOON TIHIN SAFAL KAR,
SUMRE SIRJAN HAR.
It is because our noble actions in our previous births, that we have been incarnated in human form.
We should make our life successful by constantly remembering the creator of cosmos.
18. CHAURASI LAKH YONI KA,
MANUSH HAI SIRTAJ.
KAHE TEOON HARI BHAJAN KA,
KAR ISS TAN MEN KAJ.
Man is the crown of entire creation of eighty-four lakh forms of life. Shri Teoonram says,
"Complete this important assignment of remembering God in this human life."
19. GAFLAT MEN NA GANVAIYE,
MANUSH DEH MAHAAN.
KAHE TEOON TUM JAGKE,
BHAJ LE SHRI BHAGWAN.
Shri Teoonram advises us not to waste away this precious human life in indolence. He exhorts us to wake up from the
slumber of ignorance and constantly remember Ram.
20. KAHE TEOON TUM CHET LE,
AAB KUCHH BIGRI NAHIN.
DAYA DHARAM SHUBH KARAM KAR,
HARI SUMARO MAN MAHIN.
Shri Teoonram asks us to wake up, for, it is not too late to mend our ways. We should do noble deeds, charity,
and compassion, along with reciting the sacred name of God.
21. SOYE AVIDYA NIND MEN,
KAHE TEOON BAHU KAAL.
AAB TO GAFLAT CHHOD DE,
SUMARO DEEN DAYAL.
Shri Teoonram alerts us by saying "O you human being for a long time, you have been lying in the slumber of ignorance.
Now shake it off, and do remember God constantly.
22. HARI SUMARO TUM JAGKE,
SOYA NA NIDRA MAHIN.
KAHE TEOON JAGE BINA,
HARI DARSHAN DE NAHIN.
Shri Teoonram exhorts us to wake up from the sleep of infatuation, for never will we have sacred vision of God, so long we are asleep.
23. AMRIT VELE OOTH KE,
CHHOD KALPANA KAAM.
KAHE TEOON HARI DHYAN DHAR,
SUMARO GURU KA NAM.
Shri Teoonram asks us to get up at the ambrosial hour of dawn, stop mind from senseless wanderings, meditate
upon the Lord of Universe and constantly recite sacred Guru mantra (Incarnation of the Guru).
24. PRATAHKAL JO OOTHKE,
KARAT HARIGUN GAN.
KAHE TEEON SO JAGAT MEN,
HOVAT SANT SUJAN.
Further explaining Shri Teoonram says, "The person who gets up at that ambrosial hour of dawn and sings the
praise of the Lord, will undoubtedly become a noble saint."
25. NISH DIN KAR SHUBH BHAVNA,
HARI KO JAN HUZOOR.
KAHE TEOON MAN SE KARO,
ASHUBH BHAVNA DOOR.
Shri Teoonram inspires us to inculcate pious thinking, and thinking God to be All-pervading we should erase all evil thoughts from our mind.
26. NEECH OONCH NIRDHAN DHANI,
SUB MEN LAKH KARTAR.
KAHE TEOON SHUDH BHAV SE,
SABKA KAR SATKAR.
Shri Teoonram asks us to see the Image of God in all human beings, the rich and the poor, the high and the low,
and welcome and entertain them in proper and pious manner.
27. BURAA BHALLA NIJ BHAV HI,
SABKO SUKH DUKH DET.
KAHE TEOON DE AUR NAHIN,
FALAT BHAV KA KHET.
Shri Teoonram asserts that it is only our noble or evil thoughts, which bestow upon us joy or inflict pain,
as the case may be. It is only the harvest of thoughts that we reap.
28. BURA KISI KA NA KARO,
SABKA BHALLA VICHAR.
TEOON BURAEE JO KARE,
TANKA KAR UPKAR.
Shri Teoonram tells us never to do evil to others, instead we should always think well of others, even to evil doers,
we should do good.
29. KALP VRAKSHA HAI ATMA,
KAHE TEOON SAB MAHIN.
JANKI JAISEE BHAVNA,
TAISA PHAL DE TAHIN.
Shri Teoonram says that every individual soul is like a celestial tree. As will be our thinking, so will be its fruit.
30. MAN PAR SAKSHI HOYA TUM,
DHAR VIVEK VAIRAGYA.
KAHE TEEON JE DOSH HAIN,
TANKA KARO TYAG.
Shri Teoonram advises us to be ‘Eternal Witness’ of our minds, imbibe, the virtues of conscience and renunciation
and give up whatever faults, we have adopted so far.
31. THORE JEEVAN HETU TUM,
KARO NA PAAP AJAAN.
KAHE TEOON MAN JEET KAR,
PUNYA KARO PRADHAN.
Shri Teoonram says, "Do not commit sins for the sake of your brief stay in this world, instead by controlling mind, enhance virtues."
32. NISHCHAL MAN SE MILAT HAI,
NISHCHAL ATAMRAM.
TEOON MAN NISHCHAL KARE,
PAO SUKH KA DHAM.
With a resolute and determinate mind one definitely realises God. Shri Teoonram is of the opinion that by
having one-pointed mind, one surely gets the abode of joy.
33. ISHTDEV BHAGWAN KI,
KARE UPASAN JOI.
KAHE TEOON TIS MANUSH KA,
NISHCHAL SUDH MAN HOI.
One who worships one’s favourite deity and God, will have a purified heart. Shri Teoonram is of this opinion.
34. KARAM DHARAM JAP DHIYAN TAP,
YOG YAGYA VIRAT DAN.
KAHE TEOON HARI HET KAR,
CHHOD MAMAT ABHIMAN.
Shri Teoonram advises us to perform all the rituals, recitation, meditation, penance, yoga, yagya, fasting,
charity in the name of God and cast aside all egoism and infatuation.
35. JAP TAP SEVA KARAM SHUBH,
TIRATH DAN ISNAN.
SHRADHA BINA FAL DET NAHIN,
KAHE TEOON SAT MAAN.
Shri Teoonram says, "Take it as truth that without reverence recitation of God’s sacred name, penance, service, noble deeds, pilgrimage, charity and bathing (in sacred rivers) do not bear any fruit."
36. PREM BIN PAHUNCHE NAHIN,
KO JAN HARI KE DHAAM.
KAHE TEOON TANTE JAPO,
PREM SAHIT HARI NAM.
Without love nobody reaches the abode of God. Shri Teoonram says, "Recite the name of God soaked in love."
37. PREM BHAV SE HOT VASH,
BHAKT VATSAL BHAGWAN.
KAHE TEOON TANTE KARO,
HARI SE PREM PRADHAN.
Benign God who is lover of his devotees, becomes accessible by love. Shri Teoonram says,
"Therefore, make love of the Lord the main mission of your life."
38. JIN JIN HARI KE PREM MEN,
DINA TAN MAN PRAN.
TEOON TIN KE KADAM PAR,
JHUK JHUK PADAT JAHAN.
Says Shri Teoonram, "The world bows down at the sacred feet of those who have sacrificed their body,
mind and vital breath of life for The Love of Lord."
39. BEMUKH HO KARTAR SE,
KARAT JAGAT SE PYAR.
KAHE TEOON TIS MANUSH KA,
KABAHUN NA HOT UDDHAR.
Shri Teoonram says, "One who turns his back to the Creator, and loves the world, will never achieve salvation."
40. SANT GURU PARMATMA,
SACHE SANGI JAAN.
KAHE TEOON IN TEEN SE,
KAR LE PREM SUJAAN.
Shri Teoonram says, "O Enlightened one do cultivate love towards these three, the Saint, the Preceptor and the
Supreme Soul. Look upon them as your true companions."
41. HARI-MELI HAIN SANT JAN,
HARI SE DET MILAYA.
KAHE TEEON CHHODAT NAHIN,
JO JAIN SHARNI AAYA.
Saints are the emissaries of God for verily do they unite us with God. Shri Teoonram says,
"One, who is in their benign shelter is never betrayed."
42. JAISE JAL MEN RAHAT HAI,
AHI NISH KAMAL ALEP.
KAHE TEOON TIM JAGAT MEN,
SANT RAHAT NIRLEP.
Shri Teoonram tell us, "As the lotus stays in the water day and night, and yet remains untouched by it,
similarly saints live in the world and yet remain unattached and unencumbered."
43. SANT RAM MEN BHED NAHIN,
SANT RAM SWAROOP.
KAHE TEOON RATT RAM KO,
BHAYE RAM KE ROOP.
Shri Teoonram is of the opinion that there is practically no difference between a real saint and God, for verily saint is an
incarnation of God. Those who constantly recite Ram become the very Image of Ram.
44. SWARATH BIN SEVA KARE,
SABKO DE SANMAN.
TEOON SAMTA MEN RAHE,
SOEE SANT PACHHAN.
Shri Teoonram says, "One who serves others without selfish motive, respects one and all and
leads a balanced life, surely know him to be a true saint."
45. JAG MEN JITE JO MARE,
TAJE DEH ABHIMAN.
KAHE TEOON SANSAR MEN,
SO NAR MUKTA MAAN.
Shri Teoonram says, "One who during his lifetime gives up pride of body and lives like a corpse
(without the least trace of pride) know him to be an Emancipated soul."
46. JIWIT JAG MEN MARAT JO,
TA PAR CHHTRA JHULANT.
TEOON JAG TIHIN POOJTE,
JAN ROOP BHAGWANT.
Those who give up ego during their lifetime and live like dead (without a trace of pride) are honoured with a Royal
Umbrella (befitting Emperors). They are worshipped by this world as the very image of God.
47. KASHMA JAKE MAN BASE,
TIS HARI ANTAR NAHAIN.
KAHE TEOON SUR NAR SABHI,
DARSHAN CHAHAT TAHIN.
Shri Teoonram says, "Those whose hearts are saturated with forgiveness are not different from God.
The immortals and men all long for their sacred vision."
48. KRODH TYAG KSHMA DHARE,
SO HAI POOJAN YOG.
KAHE TEOON TIHIN DARAS TE,
MITT JAVAT SAB ROG.
Casting aside anger, one who adopts forgiveness is worth worshipping. Shri Teoonram says all the ailments
disappear by having the sacred vision of such a being.
49. KALI KAL MEN KATHIN HAI,
YOG YAGYA TAP DHYAN.
SADHU SANG HARI NAM SE,
TEOON HO KALYAN.
Shri Teoonram says, "In this iron-age (Kaliyuga) it is very difficult to perform penances, yoga, yagya or meditation.
Our welfare therefore lies in the association of exalted souls and recitation of ‘Ram Nam’."
50. SANT SAMAGAM SAM NAHIN,
SADHAN KO JAG MAHIN.
KAHE TEOON BIN HARI KRIPA,
SATSANG MILTA NAHIN.
Shri Teoonram says, "There is no means of God-realisation so good as the company of saints and sages,
which one obtains only with the grace of God."
51. PAAR KARAT BHAV SINDHU SE,
SATSANG PARAM JAHAJ.
KAHE TEOON TAMEN CHADHO,
CHOOD JAGAT KI LAAJ.
The association of exalted souls is like a vast ship, for carrying us across the ocean of fear, Shri Teoonram therefore,
advises us to embark on this ship, not caring for the criticism of the people.
52. SATSANG SE SATGURU MILE,
SATGUR SE NIJ GYAAN.
KAHE TEOON NIJ GYAAN SE,
MILAHIN PAD NIRBAAN.
Shri Teoonram says, "Through satsanga one gets a perfect Preceptor, whose grace will dawn
on us self-realisation and through self-realisation, one attains salvation."
53. SATGURU BUDHI KE NAIN MEN,
DARE ANJAN GYAN.
KAHE TEOON TAM BHARAM HAR,
DIKHLAVE BHAGWAN.
Shri Teoonram says, "Perfect Preceptor applies collyrium of knowledge in the eyes of the spiritual aspirant removes
the darkness of ignorance and doubts, and makes us have the vision of God."
54. KAHE TEOON BHAGWAN SE,
SATGURU ADHIK PACHHAAN.
KARMON KA FAL DET HARI,
GURU DE MUKTI DAAN.
Shri Teoonram says, "Look upon your perfect preceptor even greater than God for God awards us
the fruit of our actions but Satguru absolves us of sins and gets us salvation."
55. GURU BIN RANG NA LAGHIN,
GURU BIN GYAN NA HOYA.
KAHE TEOON SATGUR BINA,
MUKTI NA PAYE KOYA.
Shri Teoonram says without the grace of Guru, one never gets dyed in the colour of devotion
neither one gets salvation without Guru’s blessings.
56. POORAN SATGUR DEV SE,
POORAN LE UPDESH.
KAHE TEOON TIHIN SUMMER KE,
PAOO POORAN DESH.
Shri Teoonram says, "Get initiated and preached by a perfect perceptor. By constantly remembering the Noble
Preceptor one enters the perfect palace of Truth, Consciousness and Bliss."
57. SARVA VIYAPAK JAAN HARI,
SABKI KARIYE SEV.
KAHE TEOON SAB PAAP HAR,
DEKHO ATAM DEV.
Shri Teoonram says, "Know God to be all-pervading and serve one and all. This will remove all your sins
and well let you perceive the ‘Supreme Soul’."
58. BRAHAM ATMA EK HAI,
SAT CHIT ANAND ROOP.
KAHE TEOON GYANI JISE,
JANAT NIJ SWAROOP.
Shri Teoonram says, "Brahma, the Supreme Soul and the soul of all beings, is one. It is the embodiment of Truth,
Consciousness and Bliss. Enlightened people consider this Supreme Soul as their Own Image."
59. SAKHI CHETAN BRAHAM KA,
SAB GHAT MEN HAI VAS.
KAHE TEOON SHASHI SURYA MEN,
TANKA HAI PRAKASH.
God, the embodiment of Truth, Consciousness and Bliss the Eternal witness, pervades in all forms of creation.
Shri Teoonram says, "His light and radiance pervade even in the Sun and the Moon."
60. SAKHI CHETAN RAM RAHA,
JAL THAL PUNI AAKASH.
KAHE TEOON TIHIN JAAN KE,
PAOO SUKH AVINASH.
God, the Eternal witness of our actions, the embodiment of Truth, Consciousness and Bliss pervades everywhere,
on the earth, in the water and in the sky. Shri Teoonram says, by knowing Him well, get indestructible joy.
